Early start

I wonder if it is a sign of things to come that our 2-year-old's first ever complete sentence in English was "Give me money."

(He was asking for a 50p coin that we were playing with. He has previously said similar 2-word sentences in Tamil.)

:D and it's good you blogged it. I have no idea what my son's first sentence was.

And did you give him the 50p?

Rahul: He's two and already knows the words to this song?

//TR: what if he meant "give me Monet"?

sb: Yes, to play with. Not permanently of course. Today he repeated the sentence for a small pink clay disc.

all: I hope the blogger archive survives to adulthood so that I can replay all this to him.

He also goes around saying Appa's cute, amma cute illai. I am sure he meant neither :-)
