"Damn you" was probably an editorial substitution :) The comments to the article are interesting (several Chinese commenters, naturally).

Sorry to indulge in some propaganda of my own, N Ram style, but here is some commentary you might want to look at.
Anant, Rahul B - thanks for the article. Rahul - if you were N Ram, you would not yourself link to your own commentary: you would arrange for Xinhua to do it for you.
